Town Hall Meeting: Medicaid Eligibility

June 8 @ 10:00 am - 11:30 am

Free

The Guidance Center invites community members, families, providers, and partners to join us for an important town hall discussion on upcoming changes to Medicaid eligibility requirements and what they could mean for individuals and families who rely on coverage for health and behavioral health services.

Beginning January 1, 2027, certain Medicaid enrollees may be required to complete eligibility redeterminations every six months instead of annually. This event will provide an opportunity to better understand these proposed changes, hear how they may impact access to care, and learn what steps individuals and organizations can take to prepare.

During the town hall, we will:
• Review the proposed Medicaid eligibility and redetermination changes
• Discuss implementation timelines and what community members should expect
• Share guidance on maintaining coverage and avoiding interruptions in care
• Explore the potential impact on behavioral health services, families, and providers
• Answer questions from attendees and connect participants with available resources, including onsite application assistance

This conversation is part of The Guidance Center’s ongoing commitment to supporting access to care, promoting community awareness, and helping individuals navigate changes in the healthcare system.
