Community Film Series

February 8 @ 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm EST

Wednesday, February 8, 2023 from 6-8pm including special panel discussion

What is the difference between “being anxious” and having an anxiety disorder? What can we do about the 634% rise in use of Mental Health America’s online tool for anxiety since the start of Covid? Why is there still so much fear and stigma in just talking to others instead of hiding online? What can each of us do to make it better and best engage in a full and happy life?

Angst is on a mission: to start a global conversation and raise awareness around anxiety.

Tuesday, March 21, 2023 from 6-8pm including special live Q&A

Before Covid, 2 billion smartphone owners were checking their phones an average of 150 times a day, and the enforced isolation and mandated screen time of the past years has only increased this figure. Having your head down, staring at the screen, chasing “likes” and seeking “followers” is the perfect recipe for low self-esteem, isolation and depression, and loss of focus and patience.

The filmmakers of LIKE inspire kids and teens to consider a life of JOMO (joy of missing out).

Featuring live Q&A with star Max Stossel after the screening!

Wednesday, April 26, 2023 from 6-8pm including special panel discussion
