Love changed her story.

She came to Kids-TALK believing no one loved her.

She had experienced abuse and had been hurt by people who were supposed to care for her. She didn’t trust therapy. She didn’t believe anyone could understand what she had been through.

But she kept coming to Kids-TALK. And slowly, she began to realize she wasn’t alone.

Today, she is proud of herself. She has accomplished her goal of going to college, where she is studying family and child care and hopes to become a social worker and child therapist. She has also received a full college scholarship.

When asked what Kids-TALK means to her today, she answered simply:

“Love.”

Your support can help another child discover that same hope.

For 25 years, Kids-TALK has helped children find safety, healing and the belief that their story can be more than what happened to them.

As we close this 25th anniversary year, please consider making a year-end gift to help Kids-TALK continue giving children the support they need to heal and move forward.

Help write what comes next.

Every gift helps create a future where children know they are believed, supported and not alone.
