We believe that quality education empowers all people\, regardless of their background\, to make a positive difference in the life of someone they know. \nWHAT IS A QPR GATEKEEPER?\nA gatekeeper is someone in a position to recognize a crisis and the warning signs that someone may be contemplating suicide. \nQPR Gatekeepers can be anyone\, but include\n● Parents\n● Teachers\n● Minister\n● Youth\n● Doctors\n● First Responders\n● Mental Health Professionals\n● And YOU! \nAS A CERTIFIED QPR GATEKEEPER YOU WILL LEARN TO:\n1. Recognize the warning signs of suicide\n2. Increase awareness of stigma and understand suicide as a public health issue\n3. Know how to offer hope\n4. Know how to access local and national referral resources\n5.
