Hear from local experts\, mental health professionals\, and community advocates as they share evidence-based strategies and resources that can help save lives. \nThe event will include:\n• A basic overview of suicide prevention and common myths and misconceptions\n• Guidance on talking with children and youth about suicide\n• An introduction to the Question\, Persuade\, Refer (QPR) suicide prevention approach\n• Personal insights from a parent advocate on reducing stigma and promoting hope\n• Free suicide prevention resources\, educational materials\, and safety items to take home\n• Information about local crisis services\, trainings\, and community support programs\n• On-site mental health professionals available for private conversations and resource connections\, if needed \nWhether you’re a parent\, educator\, community member\, or simply want to learn more\, everyone has a role to play in suicide prevention.
