Community Town Hall – “I’m Scared”: Navigating the Difficult Conversation with Your Child After a School Tragedy

The recent tragic event that occurred in Oxford and the follow-up multitude of copycat threats have evoked many emotions including sadness, grief, helplessness, anxiety, and anger. As a parent or caregiver, you may struggle with how to talk with your children as they look to you to feel safe. Please join us for this virtual Town Hall event where experts from The Guidance Center will provide guidance on how to talk with your children during this time when they may be struggling. Professionals with expertise in all age groups from early childhood through late teen and young adults will be available to answer questions.
