The Guidance Center's Bridges is an intervention program for families of preschool-aged children who are experiencing difficulties at home or at preschool.
What do we offer?
- Parent-infant therapy
- Play therapy
- Developmental guidance
- Supportive counseling
- Concrete services
- Advocacy as needed
- Observation and consultation with preschool program
- These services are provided in the home or in the community.
What is our goal?
Our primary goal is to support early parent-child relationship and support children's social and emotional development to promote school success.
Who can receive services?
Preschool-aged children who:
- exhibit challenging behaviors at home or at school (over activity, frequent temper tantrums, aggression, anger, etc.)
- have behaviors that are concerning to parents or preschool teachers (shyness, withdrawn, fearful, anxious, have separation difficulties or sleep difficulties, etc.)
