SUBSTANCE ABUSE PROGRAM

As with all of our clinical programs, Substance Abuse services are provided by licensed and certified mental health professionals.  These programs can be accessed by contacting one of our Client Referral Specialists at

734-785-7700.

OUR PHILOSOPHY..

  • The Guidance Center’s philosophy is that addiction should be treated as a complex problem with no single cause.

  • The goal of our programs is total abstinence from all alcohol and other drugs.

  • Confidentiality will be maintained at all times.

ASSESSMENT PROCESS...

Treatment begins with a comprehensive assessment focused on targeting the needs of the individual and his/her family.   The process will involve the client, immediate family member(s), and individuals identified by the client.

When the assessment is complete, the intake therapist will meet with the individual to discuss the results and the recommended care.

PROGRAMS OFFERED...

Adult Outpatient Substance Abuse

This program provides services to individuals and families experiencing problems directly related to substance abuse. Valued in the treatment design are knowledge and awareness of the multiple factors leading to substance abuse, the important stabilizing functions of support groups such as Alcoholics and Narcotics Anonymous, and the influence of the family in the client’s recovery process.

Adolescent Outpatient Program
