CENTRAL ACCESS UNIT (CAU)

A Client Referral Specialist acts as a single point of entry for all services for both adults and children.  Clinical case managers are available to triage calls, to direct clients to the appropriate level of care and to provide information and referrals to other community services when needed.  Insurance verification and pre-authorization are also done prior to the first appointment.

 

HOURS:  

 

  • Specialists are available Monday through Friday from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm.

  • A receptionist is available Monday through Thursday from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. to forward emergency after-hours calls to the appropriate areas.

  • On weekends and at all other times, an emergency number will be left on the agency's voice mail system.
